For a school assignment, I interviewed my cousin about important life lessons because it’s common for younger family members to ask those who are older for advice.

She briefly told me about her college adventures and the lessons she’s learned and experienced. The lesson that stood out to me is that you should immerse yourself in many different activities in order to discover your interests and passions.

This delighted me because even though I’ve heard similar versions of this piece of advice many times throughout my life, I feel that it is necessary to remind people that there are many things in the world to experience. After all, how would you know for certain that you’re going to like or dislike something if you’ve never tried it?
